Welcome Back to School!

Hello, my name is Melissa Price. I am new at Solomon School District. I will be teaching Preschool and Special Education K-5.

I have taught Special Ed. for 23 1/2 years. I love teaching younger students and watching them learn and grow. This school year has been fun to watch my special ed. and preschool students learn and grow.
Preschool School /Special Education
My Preschool class started working on sounding out short vowel words last week. They are showing a lot of excitement about learning to decode words. We will continue to review letters and sounds as the year goes on. We are also starting to learn to add and subtract simple math facts.


My Special Ed. students continue to show progress with their goals and I hope to see them continue to learn and grow at their ability level as the school year continues.

Sped and Preschool
I enjoy creating new activities for my students to use in preschool as well as in special education. It is important to have a variety activities to help students learn and grow.
